On June 18 - 22, incoming Pride of Pocola Drum Major Forever Renfro attended the George M. Parks Drum Major Academy on the campus of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. The Academy is a intensive week long camp where students are taught advanced concepts in conducting, teaching, and leadership/communication. These skills are designed to make them better leaders, not only to their band programs, but in life. Prepare to see Forever lead the Pride of Pocola this fall!
